Dusk descends on all who dwell on this magical island. The fragile birch absorbs the fleeting warmth of sunlit days gone by. The lunar orb is illuminated by reflective light which guide nocturnal creatures to unknown shadows. Relax, reflect, and renew in the calming spirit of the Manitoulin moonlight.
I find my rest in silent choices. Breathe in your surroundings, as your work is now done. Listen to the stillness, and accept the gifts of canoe point.
Awaken before the rise of the sun. Listen through the ascending shroud for the call of the loon and the splash of the otter. Breathe in the early morn as paddle strokes caress placid waters, and absorb all that is offered in the Temagami mist.
Birch, Red Maple, and Pine stand on the shore of an Autumn lake, as a symbol of perseverance and diversity. Entwined roots help them stand together in solidarity from the menace of the approaching Winter winds. Reflect on this country’s historic diversity.
