Description
A trip to the Columbia Icefields, in the summer of 1967, resulted in this stone becoming an important keepsake for our family of seven. Dad insisted on bringing it back home, as a reminder of an eventful trip, just in case we never returned there together in the future. He was a husband and a father with a great sense of humour, and oh how he loved to take as much time as needed to explain his point in every detail. The many dialects he used entertained us for hours, his attention to detail amused us, and we always knew we were loved. This was Andy’s way.
