A sentinel raven’s call echoes over the placid waters of Lac Sheffield, as we bask in the serenity of another Kipawa dawn. We reflect on our life’s journey in common solitude, and realize that our decade of love has guided us through troubled waters, with the innate ability to put daily struggles behind us. We steal away from the immediacy of this world and ply the waters of The Kawarthas, Temiskaming, Algonquin, and Kipawa, knowing the further away we paddle from others the closer we feel together. Turner Falls offers its soothing and hypnotic rhythms, crystalline sparkle, and welcome solitude as we nourish our bodies and souls on shorelines silhouetted by sunset’s warm palette. Our love is strengthened, refreshed, and invigorated under starlit Kipawa skies, and I know I am at peace when I am alone with you.
