Description
Frigid air cracks in the Labrador darkness, while echoing tendrils wrap themselves around our entire being. Our remote camp lends warmth from the flickering hearth before us, as we dream of those left behind. Our indigenous ancestors coexisted with the George River Caribou Herd for millennia past, as they traversed thousands of miles from Boreal forests to calving grounds on the tundra of Ungava. We too follow the herd under a sky of shimmering Labradorite, and a spray of glistening stars, set before us on a canvas of ebony. Good friends and good memories abound, as we reflect on the ones we love, here in the embrace of the Aurora.
