Georgian Bay Summer

Georgian Bay Summer

Westerlies subside as clear waters turn to glass, and all that breaks the silence is the call of a solitary gull. Weather worn stone protrudes from an ancient shield, and warmth radiates from below as we enjoy this safe and sheltered harbour. Cool waters surround and refresh us as we are embraced by the crystal-clear pool of yet unexplored beauty. We rejoice in this fleeting moment and know that future dreams will include a Georgian Bay summer.

    Kayak Series #7

This collector piece is one out of a growing edition that I started creating in 2016. You will notice that the edition number and the artist’s signature is engraved on the back of the kayak, so as more pieces are created in the Kayak Series in the future, the lower edition numbers will translate to an increase in value with the passage of time.
