Description
We stand together in this landscape we call home, and pledge our love to each other. Through struggles, and ribbons of fire, we have supported our community and watched as it rose from the ashes, and breathed life into those who persevered. Greater adversity bred greater commitment, and our love flourished until February 5, 2019 placed us on the peak of a Mayan ruin, where our lives were pledged to each other under the Mexican sun. Events of the world twice altered our plans, but not our determination and love for each other as we gather before family and friends. Cradled in a floral palette, and soothed by the sound of northern breezes, we seal our love with bands of gold. We feast, we toast, we dance, and we rejoice, for this is our moonlit union.
