Twin pines stand firmly together as a testament to lives well lived. Experiences shared from seedling to maturity are alive in each others consciousness, as the ever present winds of time move them in a unified dance. So much alike, but yet so different, they seek to place their roots in separate directions in the search for their own spiritual sustenance. Circumstances will inevitably change, and their influence on loved ones will branch out in so many yet unseen, and wondrous ways. Another day draws to a close, as violet hues settle on rocky shores like dusk’s final shroud. Reflect on the joys and accomplishments of the day gone by, and give thanks for those yet to come. Breathe in the calm, and release any burdens into the soothing arms of Amethyst breezes.
Dusk descends on distant silhouettes, as silence lowers a veil of violet on all who dwell here.
We sit in closeness as we bare witness to the closing of another day.
The people of the land move with purpose and determination while traversing previously submerged rock from this land we call Temagami First Nation. “All life comes from our Mother the Earth, so we offer tobacco and prayers when we harvest the materials.
