Sage smoke, drums, and song fill my senses with hope on Spring breezes. Generations gather and share in anticipation of change and healing.  Sleeping giants awake, and ask to be heard through peaceful voices.  As Kaministiquia trails beckon in Amethyst glitter, we move as brothers, stepping to the primal heartbeat of Mother Earth. Drums form circles, and gifts are shared in brotherhood at the Lakehead.

In the failing light, always take the time to reflect.  Look back, and know that you have lightened a life with a smile and a laugh.  Be certain that you have truly listened to the thoughts of others.  Remember compassionate acts for those who are marginalised or distressed. Reflect on the marvels the Earth provides, and continue to be a strong defender and steward of its fragile gifts.  As daylight fades, release all negative thoughts, and be at peace in the promise of tomorrow, as you bathe in the glow of last light.

Give thanks to those who direct you towards the light. Their strength and wisdom shape you in ways unknown to you now, but will come clear as you face the leeward wind.

They stand together on this special spot, and remember five decades past when a young couple pledged their love for each other witnessed by friends and family, under a lunar orb where mortals first set foot less than a month before.
