Free standing sculptures

Handwritten notes hidden in a young girl’s school desk create a preface to a couple’s love.   Familiar hearts touch in childlike innocence, and form a bond which will endure through life’s unexplored labyrinth.  Christmas sprinkles its magic in candlelight splendour, and leads to a reunion followed by a life long commitment on the eve of a new millennium.  They see the best of both of them in the birth of their daughter, with a father’s genuine attention to detail, care, and compassion, softly combined with a mother’s fanciful and frivolous nature.   A four legged friend joined the family, with a demeanor that places a smile on every face, and calms all who are in her presence.  A decade and a half of their union has passed with all external challenges being met with a practical flare and unmatched creativity.  With love and trust in each other, that reaches the ends of the Earth, they tease, but never tear each other down.  Conversation between the three, while paddling life’s gentle waterways, and their connection to nature, is appreciated more with each crystal droplet lifted in sunlit prisms.  Looking back, fifteen years seems like a lifetime of experiences, but they have passed by with childlike enthusiasm for they know that they will always be kids at heart.  Love and trust will never fade, as they look forward to the best yet to come, but on this special day they will take pause and bathe in reflections of love.
